1. Service Definition A Press Release is an official announcement of a significant event or development formally distributed to inform stakeholders and the public. This service includes a 300–400 word article which may be published on UFS NEWS (Unfiltered Studios News) and/or delivered to the client via Google Doc or PDF for external distribution.
2. Deposit and Pricing A $10 non-refundable deposit is required to initiate the press release. This deposit covers the first 300–400 words. Any additional length requested beyond this initial scope will be billed at a rate of $5 per 150 words.
3. Publication and Removal Rights For content published on UFS NEWS, Unfiltered Studios reserves the right to remove the content from our site for any reason and without prior notice. Publication on our platform does not guarantee permanent hosting.
4. Revision Policy To ensure the announcement meets your standards, two free rounds of revisions are included. If further changes are required after these two rounds, the following fees apply:
Minor Revisions: Any edits or rephrasing past the first two rounds will be billed at $5 per 100 words of rewrite.
Full Rewrites: If the core message or event details change, requiring a complete rewrite of the content, the new version will be billed at $10 per 250 words.
5. No Refunds All payments, including the initial $10 deposit, are strictly non-refundable. Should the project be cancelled by the client before distribution or publication, Unfiltered Studios reserves the right to retain all payments for work completed.
6. Liability and Accuracy The client is responsible for the final "fact-check" and verification of all claims within the press release. The client agrees to indemnify and hold Unfiltered Studios harmless from any claims or damages resulting from the publication or distribution of the provided information.
7. Ownership and Distribution Rights Unfiltered Studios, and any authors utilized to create the content, retain full legal ownership and copyright of the written work. Upon receipt of final payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license for distribution rights. This allows the client to share, post, and distribute the press release to media outlets and the public, while original authorship and legal ownership remain exclusively with Unfiltered Studios and its creators.
